 <\/td>Steve Crosby came to know the Gospel and the Savior among America\u2019s Charismatics. He calls them \u201chis Tribe\u201d. His life was changed, but as he became more mobile among them, and knowledgeable, more and more of the goings-on and the things proclaimed, began to shake him to the core.
What he found was what Proverbs 19:3 describes: \u201cThe foolishness of a man twists his way, and his heart frets against the Lord\u201d.

The Lord\u2019s Day<\/em><\/strong><\/h4>\n<\/td><\/tr>

 <\/td>One of the Messianic psalms, Psalm 118:22-24, prophesies concerning Messiah\u2019s death and resurrection! In these verses, God declares the Day of Resurrection to be the \u201cDay Made by Him\u201d, in other words a \u201cNew Creation\u201d. That Day was destined to be the \u201cDay of days\u201d \u2013 forever -, the source of, and motive for, great joy and gladness.
When Messiah died, the \u201cLast Adam<\/strong>\u201d died. When Messiah rose victoriously, the \u201cSecond Man<\/strong>\u201d was born (see Paul\u2019s references to this in 1st Corinthians 15). While the Roman world would continue to worship the \u2018sun\u2019 on the first day of the week, calling it \u201cSUNday\u201d, for the Redeemed, it would be the \u201cLord\u2019s Day<\/strong>\u201d from now on. Apostasy \u2013<\/h4>\n

 <\/td>In many Bible versions, 2nd<\/sup> Thessalonians 2:3 has the word \u201capostasy\u201d. The verse is a marvelous verse, yet most readers never catch on. What really is the apostle writing about? \u201cApostasy\u201d (a Greek word) means \u201cfalling away from the faith\u201d, right? But what if that particular meaning of \u201cfalling away\u201d is an \u2018acquired meaning\u2019, and not really what Paul was wanting to express?
